Basic education, experience, and skills required for consideration:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent PLUS one of the following:
  • Non-licensed graduate of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse program; or
  • Enrollment in an approved RN program and completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation; or
  • Certification as a Nurse assistant; or
  • Medical Assistant Certification; or
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program; or
  • Two years medical office experience
 
Minimum Experience:
  • One year of patient care experience.  Certified Nurse Assistant with the California Department of Health Services or Certified Medical Assistant.
 
Required Certification/License:
  • BLS CPR Card Healthcare Provider Level from the American Heart Association
 
Preferred Certification/License:
  • Certified Medical Assistant; Phlebotomy Certification; C.N.A. certification from the California Department of Health Services
Additional Information:
  • Shift:            Days 10 Hour Shifts
  • Status:         Full Time
  • Unit:             1 D Infusion
