Assistant Research Professor - Bioinformatics - Lab of Dr. Andrea Bild

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• PhD degree in bioinformatics or equivalent and experience with NGS sequencing data lead research projects.
• Demonstrated ability to solve biologically relevant problems requiring novel applications of exploratory data analysis.
• Ability to analyze data of high complexity by applying sound statistical and commonly accepted bioinformatics methods to -omics data with a collaborative project team.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Excellence in scripting languages (phtyon, perl) and with R.
• Knowledge of hardware including server.
• Multiple first author publications required.
