Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience may substitute for subject area requirements.
  • Must have at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Must have at least 7 years of management experience.

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Advanced degree or subsequent experience.
  • Certified Financial Advisor or Estate Planning Attorney
  • Fundraising background with an in-depth knowledge of planned giving vehicles and operations.
  • Data management experience and an in-depth knowledge of relational databases.
  • Leadership and management skills with the ability to instruct and train others
  • Understanding of direct marketing concepts and production
  • Sound judgment and decision making
  • Professional demeanor and a cooperative and team oriented attitude
  • Diplomacy; ability to cultivate and maintain relationships
  • Exercises sound judgement and decision making
  • Display tact/consideration in dealing with City of Hope donors, patients and employees
  • Effective facilitator in various settings
  • Ability to conduct research, prepare reports and analyze data
  • Ability to compose correspondence, prepare proposals and conduct presentations
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office, Crescendo, PG Calc, Blackbaud CRM

Additional Information:
