Business Intelligence Analyst

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• Bachelors degree Business Administration or Computer Science or Healthcare Administration or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
• 3 + years healthcare BI experience as a Business Analyst, preferred Microsoft SQL server experience and Visualization tool experience (such as Tableau creator development) a plus
• Ability to customize BI tolls to meet user needs
• Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, templates and analytical views
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software based technical issues to ensure a stable, robust BI environment
• Project management experience a plus
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work efficiently with peers, end users, and outside vendors
• Microsoft Office Tools, BI tools & Databases knowledge and proficiency  like Tableau reporting software, Business Objects, Microstrategy, MS SQLServer Reporting Services and ETL tools.  CRM platform knowledge such as Salesforce a plus. 

Preferred education experience and skills:

• Healthcare experience in Hospital systems, oncology, inpatient, or acute care, health plan/payor settings preferred. 

Additional Information:

• Occasionally subjected to irregular hours
• Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
• Occasionally covers varied shifts, weekends and holidays
• Occasional travel required
