Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • High School or equivalent.
  • Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
  • 2 years in allied health profession with at least 1 year as Cancer Registrar or completion of the Cancer Information Management program or equivalent, including passing the CTR exam.
  • Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, basic statistics and medical records operations.

Required Certification/Licensure:

  • Current certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association or be eligible to write CTR exam within one year of employment.

Additional Information:

  • This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
