Basic education,
experience and skills required for consideration:
- High School or equivalent.
- Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
- 2 years in allied health profession with at least 1 year as Cancer Registrar or completion of the Cancer Information Management program or equivalent, including passing the CTR exam.
- Working
knowledge of anatomy and physiology, basic statistics and medical records
operations.
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current
certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association or be eligible to
write CTR exam within one year of employment.
