Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- BS degree in biological science or related field, plus 3-5 years related experience or a MS in biological science or related field degree with 0-4 years of related experience. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
- Background within virus related research is required.
- Experience working in a research laboratory or manufacturing facility is preferred.
- A strong background in molecular biology methods to include PCR, ELISA, and FACS technology is a plus.
- Needs to be flexible to perform tasks during after-work hours (i.e. before 9 am or after 5pm) and during weekends as necessary. The average workload is expected to be 40 hours a week.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of the experiment procedures and results in a timely and accurately fashion.
- Work effective in a team environment.
- Experience in cGMP manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
