QUALIFICATIONS
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Outstanding clinician with an impeccable reputation and successful track record of high-quality clinical outcomes
- National reputation as a physician in Plastic Surgery
- Possess scholarly accomplishments to qualify at the rank of Associate or Professor at City of Hope
- Previous leadership experience and/or progressive administrative/management experience in an academic medical center setting, NCI and/or national academy/society, preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent and innovative patient care
- Demonstrated ability leading highly-trained physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to set and meet strategic goals
- Solid clinical or translational research background, preferred
- High levels of integrity and honesty
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Mission focused, collaborative, adaptable, flexible to change and ability to lead teams through change
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including relationship-building, communication, listening, and negotiation diplomacy
EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- M.D. OR D.O. from an accredited educational institution and boarded in respective specialty
- Fellowship trained and boarded in plastic surgery (or the equivalent), preferred
- Required, board certified by the American Board of Surgery
- Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 400+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California, within our highly respected Department of Surgery and Division of Breast Surgery. Compensation: $300,000-$600,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.”
