Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Three to five years related experience (PACU required)
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current California RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card through American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Card through American Heart Association
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Bilingual preferred.
- National certification ( must be obtained within three years of hire and must be maintained thereafter in order to retain Clin III status)
- CPAN and/or CAPA certification
Additional Information:
- As a condition of employment, City of Hope requires staff to comply with all state and federal vaccination mandates.
- PACU experience required
- This position will rotate within Pre-Op and PACU areas and will include some coverage of acute care circumstances.
- 3 OR, 2 Procedure Rooms and 18 Pre and Post-Op Bays.
- Shift: Days - 8 hours
- Job Status: Full-time, Monday - Friday
