Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
- Three (3) years or more of experience working as an oncology nurse in a case management capacity or an Employer Services environment.
- Relevant knowledge in Oncology, Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Biotherapy, Clinical Trial or Bone Marrow & Hematopoietic Cell Transplant.
- Must have strong Clinical Acumen
- Strong understanding of Oncology
- Ability to work independently
- High sense of urgency
- Must have proficient / expert oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to ask probing questions, type and provide telephonic advice simultaneously
- Must be able to Type proficiently
- Basic to intermediate capability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Use of email and other electronic forms of communications is a position requirement.
- Use of Salesforce and familiarity with voice technology
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current RN license.
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus in Oncology
- Nursing care coordination or Case Management Training Course.
- OCN Certification
