Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
Epic Application Certification and Epic implementation experience.
Minimum 4 years Team Lead experience.
Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirements
Applies Epic experience and training to team tasks and deliverables.
Ability to integrate process steps and handoffs across disciplines/departments and drive teams to decisions.
Champion the project.
Required Certification/Licensure:
Relevant Epic Module or newly obtained Epic certification within six months of employment
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience may substitute for minimum education requirement
- 5+ year’s healthcare Information Technology experience
- 5+ years of experience in a team lead role.
- Preferred Master’s Degree or higher
Additional Information
- Cancer center experience
- Previous implementation or upgrade
- Healthcare experience in other acute care health care settings preferred as well. Previous experience in the design, planning and implementation of CIS preferred.
- Occasionally subjected to irregular hours---Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
- Occasionally covers varied shifts, weekends and holidays
- Occasional travel required---Atmosphere and environment associated with an office setting
