Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in organizational development, behavioral sciences, human resources, business management or education.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion position, preferably in a healthcare or research environment.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion management/leadership role.
  • Proven success with employee communications and change management.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Mastery of modern communications tools: social/digital media. Understanding and sensitivity to cultural differences   Track record of success navigating in a complex, matrix organization.
  • Must have a deep passion for the DE&I space and working relationships with external agencies or community groups across the U.S.
  • Proven experience in DE&I models, strategies, and communications
  • Proven track record of problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying the complex
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Effective facilitator in various settings
  • Strong strategic leadership abilities
  • Exhibit a cooperative and team-oriented attitude
  • Tact in diplomacy and negotiations
  • Effective cultivation of relationships
  • Excellent communications skills, including up-front platform skills
  • Strong Project Management skillset; ability to demonstrate strong influencing and stakeholder development skills

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Master’s degree
