Health Education Specialist - Center for Community Alliance
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Public Health, Health Sciences, Health Promotion or Community Education.
- 1 year of professional Health Education experience, 1 year of experience working with patients.
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or obtain within six months of hire.
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Master of Public Health, Health Education, Nutrition, or related field.
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or MCHES
- Health educator experience in community education with public health, community/non-profit or school settings.
