Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience 
  • 2- 5 years of experience managing technical staff
  • 5 + years of experience working on technical teams
Required Courses/Training:
  • Departmental credential preferred including RT, RN, RRT, NP, etc. 
  • Knowledge of Epic security and data models is a plus
  • Epic certifications for any module, current or expired, are a plus
  • PMP Certification

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with technical project management
  • EMR: Epic

  • Additional experience: Radiology operations.

  • Ancillary Applications: Diagnostic Imaging including PACS(Sectra preferred), Powerscribe, Hologic, etc

  • Master’s Degree
  • Knowledge of and experience with agencies, standards, practices and regulations related to departmental applications and operations
  • Knowledgeable in risk management as it relates to IT systems and services
  • Experience in the implementation of industry and technology standards and best practices 
  • Expert knowledge of internal and external regulatory agencies, requirements and standards, including HIPAA, PCI, etc. ensuring compliance, confidentiality and security across assigned systems Provides clear, concise, regular communications both orally and written, with executive leadership, team, and project stakeholders at all levels
  • Instills team spirit and a desire to excel among other team members
  • Works with clients (business unit users, other I.S. teams) in a spirit of teamwork, cooperation, and willingness to support projects
  • Brings creative insight to client-user meetings; conveys a sense of competence, confidence, and willingness to serve; conveys a "can do" attitude to all
  • Works well with others to insure mutual commitment to consistent goals, objectives, and priorities
  • Sets example of friendly, helpful attitude; sets and communicates a standard of "A+" for:  team members' skills and performance, project performance and the technical environment
  • Effectively collaborates with peers and leadership to share resources on critical projects; seeks opportunities to help others' projects by sharing and reallocating team members' priorities and assignments
