Manager of Strategic Initiatives (Orange County)

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in healthcare strategy, strategic planning, business development, health care consulting, or a combination of these experiences in health care or a related field.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a leadership capacity. 
• Additional advanced education may substitute for minimum experience requirements.

Preferred education experience and skills:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strategic planning experience.
• Proven track record of operating in a matrixed environment and building relationships to achieve common goals.
• Experience with project management and or related principles including schedule development, status reporting and risk and issue management.
• Past responsibility for board- and executive-level reports and presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
• Ability to lead professionals and manage others through influence and collaboration
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation development skills.
• Critical thinking and conducting options analysis to solve problems and achieve goals.
• Telling the story with data.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization
• Microsoft suite, Adobe Pro required. Graphic design experience preferred.
