Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Training in specialty specific assisting a plus
- Two (2) years experience in primary care clinical assisting
- Experience performing lab test and processing lab and diagnostic study orders
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
- Must meet one of the following additional experience requirements:
- Proficiency in Infusion scheduling, including managing schedule and working with LeanTaas IQueue
- Mentoring and/or Precepting of other staff
- Leading Clinic throughput
- Leading Procedural Clinic
- Sterile Processing/Equipment Management
- Serving on a Quality Improvement Team
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current/valid CPR certification (BLS from American Heart Association)
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Additional Information:
- Full-time, day shift
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
