Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Must have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must have less than one year of prior RN Experience
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Must have current California RN License
- Must have Basic Lifer Support (BLS) CPR Card, through the American Heart Association
- For our more specialized roles, ACLS and PALS may also be required.
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Oncology Preceptor ship/Capstone
- One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, preferably in an Oncology Unit.
Additional Information:
- Positions may be available within all clinical areas of City of Hope, these can include, but are not limited to: Inpatient and Outpatient, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Hematology, Solid Tumor, Chemotherapy, Day Hospital, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pediatrics, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Evaluation &Treatment, and Oncology Medical Surgical.
- Shifts may include both days and nights and may be both 8 and 12 hours in duration based upon final assignment.
- Certification pay may apply
