Nurse Practitioner - Palliative Medicine
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for “hold out as a nurse practitioner” as defined in Section 1482, Nurse Practice Act, Business and Professions Code;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current California RN license
- Current DEA California license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card through American Heart Association
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Palliative medicine certified, eligible or desire to pursue this track
- Three years clinical experience in related area: palliative medicine, hospice, oncology, ICU and/or acute care
- Masters of Science degree in Nursing
- Shift: Days
- 8hrs
