Per Diem Clinical Educator - Diabetes
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or MSN
- Three years of experience
- Ability to manage multiple competing demands and to proactively negotiates priorities.
- Consistent and successful follow through on issues and problems. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff and to appropriately delegate.
- Function as a member of a cohesive management team
- Excellent oral written communication and organizational skills.
- Display tact and courtesy to others
- Knowledge of PCs and Microsoft office suite
Required Certification/Licensure:
- Current RN license
- CPR certification, through the American Heart Association
- Certified as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN)
