 Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
 
  • If hired before May 1, 2012: Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. If hired after May 1, 2012, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

  • 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment and/or outpatient setting.
 
Required Certification/Licensure:
 
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support – American Heart Association
  • Current California RN license
 
Preferred Education, Experience and skills:
 
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
  • Telephone Triage, Seeks continuing education requirements to work at top of licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic computer skills – able to type assessment and interventions electronically in real-time during phone interaction.
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Scheduling software – Allscripts, Touchworks and EPIC
  • Telecommunications – Avaya phone system
  • Customer Relationship Management – Salesforce
     
    Additional Information:
  • Per Diem position will work variable shifts
  • Eligible for shift differential
  • Certification pay may apply
  • This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement
