Pharmacy Technician - Specialty & Retail Pharmacy (Prior Authorization / Patient Enrollment)

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• High School or equivalent
• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Or graduation from a foreign School of Pharmacy
• One year performing related duties or graduation from a Pharmacy Technician training program

Required Courses/Training:

• Pharmacy Technician program

Required Certification/Licensure:

• Registered by Pharmacy Board

Preferred education, experience and skills:

• Mixed specialty and retail/outpatient experience
• Oncology specialty experience
• Experience with prior authorization
• Experience with EPIC (including Compass Rose, Willow Ambulatory)
• Excellent computer skills

Preferred Certification/Licensure:

• PTCB

Additional Information:

• Per diem, day shift
• Possible shifts are from Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• As a condition of employment, City of Hope requires staff to comply with all state and federal vaccination mandates.  
• Per Diem Rate: $32.72430/hr
