Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in project management and graphic design/web/digital/software development.

  • Ability to work well with creative staff, administrators and academic medical professionals, including an understanding of graphic design (print and digital media) and web production concepts.

  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.

  • Demonstrated skills in initiating, planning and operationalizing change.

  • Significant experience as a lead project manager for a creative/design team and/or websites and web application interfaces for large organizations.

  • Experience with project management methodologies.

  • Experience building websites using web content management systems

  • Ability to think strategically and to implement the services’ short and long-term vision and goals.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; demonstrated experience prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, working under deadline pressure, and handling multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact positively with and build consensus among a diverse group of colleagues, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

  • Ability to integrate previous technical, business, and personal experience to solve problems and evaluate current and influence new web services; demonstrated independent, creative, and self-directed problem solving.

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions using predetermined guidelines and explain those decisions to stakeholders; ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and to effectively coordinate the tasks of project team members.

  • Experience with and knowledge of graphic design software including the Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, science or an academic setting.
