Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant laboratory working experience within Basic Biology (Molecular and Cellular), and/or Chemistry (Inorganic, Organic and Biochemistry)
- 2-3 years post-Bachelor’s degree work experience in a laboratory or 1-2 years post-Masters degree work experience in a laboratory.
- Background within modern molecular biology, protein chemistry, biostatistics, biosafety training, chemical safety training, GLP principles and practices is preferred.
- Experience with PCR and electrophoresis equipment, Coulter Counter and flow cytometer, centrifuges, microscopes, pH meter, biosafety cabinet and incubator, plate readers are preferred.
- Experience working in a GLP or cGMP environment is desirable along with experience within the Biotechnology and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
