Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and As of January 1, 2020, must be enrolled in Master’s Program or must obtain within 3 years of hire or transfer date.)
Minimum Experience:
- 3 years of experience in area of expertise relevant to the department with demonstrated progressive leadership growth.
Required Certifications/License:
- California Registered Nurse License
- As of June 1, 2020, National Certification from approved list in area of expertise or leadership certification (must obtain within two years of hire of transfer date into position).
- ONS Chemo/Bio/Immunotherapy Course completion and “provider card” (can be completed during orientation)
Preferred Education:
Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent MBA, MHA, MN
Preferred License/Certifications:
- Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) and/or Nursing Leadership certification (NEA-BC or CENP) to be obtained within 2 years of hire date
