Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree  in business, philanthropy or related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in fundraising, development, or related field in a non-profit environment.
  • Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with high production value events is desirable.  Candidate must easily be able to navigate a wide variety of business and social settings and enjoy taking the message of City of Hope to individuals and organizations that are not yet familiar with its work.
  • Excellent computer skills. This position requires travel, irregular hours and communication with volunteers outside regular business hours
  • Word, Excel
  • Experience in a complex medical or academic development setting encouraged.

Additional Information:
