Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.

  • 7+ years in philanthropy communications, institutional communications, nonprofit communications, donor relations and/or philanthropy.

  • Experience working in philanthropy communications in a complex medical or academic development setting is preferred. 

  • 5+ writing samples required.
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required.

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, creative writing, philanthropy, science or related field preferred.

  • Development, Academic Medicine, Non-Profit Communications, Campaign Communications.

  • Experience working in philanthropy communications in a complex medical or academic development setting is preferred.
