Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
- Demonstrated experience (two years) working as a senior project manager in a healthcare environment under OSHPD jurisdiction and a minimum of 8 years construction / facilities industry experience.
- Project management
- MS Word, Power Point and Excel, required MS Project
- E Builder
- Meditract
Preferred Certification/Licensure:
- AIA or professional engineering licensure
Preferred Courses/Training:
- In-depth knowledge of architectural or engineering design and trades
- Knowledge in California healthcare construction and of JCAHO, ADA, and OSHPD standards
- AutoCAD (current version)
- ProLog
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Healthcare construction management to include inpatient and outpatient facilities Project manager on hospital operator / owner team
