Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- PhD degree in bioinformatics or equivalent and experience with NGS sequencing data lead research projects.
- Demonstrated ability to solve biologically relevant problems requiring novel applications of exploratory data analysis.
- Ability to analyze data of high complexity by applying sound statistical and commonly accepted bioinformatics methods to -omics data with a collaborative project team.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- Excellence in scripting languages (phtyon, perl) and with R.
- Knowledge of hardware including server.
- Multiple first author publications required.
