Senior Social Media Specialist

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

• Bachelor’s Degree                      
• At least 5 years of experience managing medium to large social media communities; 2 years of experience as a Web designer/producer; 3 years of Web/online marketing experience; 3 years of client management experience
• Proven track record of program and campaign success in social channels, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and blogs
• Deep knowledge of social and web concepts, including mobile, location based services, contests and promotions, and social commerce
• Experience using social listening tools (e.g. Radian6, Sysomos), social media management tools (e.g. Sprout Social, HootSuite, Sprinklr, Adobe Social) and web analytics services (e.g. Social Report, Google Analytics, Webtrends, TrendKite)
• Experience deploying paid social campaigns via Facebook Ads Manager and Twitter Ads Manager
• High competency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator
• Content marketing, fundraising, PR and SEO knowledge a huge plus

Preferred education, experience and skills:

• Previous experience in healthcare, science or an academic setting
