Staff Scientist - CAR T Cell Therapy
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Ph.D in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field with at least 2-3 years post-doctoral research experience.
- The PhD candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience in the fields of stem cell biology, iPSC reprogramming and directed differentiation, T cell development, immunotherapy, with demonstrated experience in cell biology and process development work.
- Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, preferably including iPSC maintenance and differentiation.
- Experience in multiparameter flow cytometry, multiplex cytokine assay, gene expression profiling is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with gene delivery approaches (viral vectors, electroporation, virus transduction) desirable.
- Ability to effectively lead a research team to successfully meet project goals.
- Outstanding collaborative and communication skills with diverse group of scientists involved in the product development.
- Ability to design and execute laboratory experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to participate in the preparation of grant applications and scientific publications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
