Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Ph.D degree with research experience in the fields of immunology immunotherapy and cancer/brain tumor biology.
  • Ability to effectively lead a research team to successfully meet project goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse group of scientists involved in the correlative studies.
  • Ability to design and execute laboratory experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to apply/use bioinformatics for analyses and interpretation of RNA-Seq and Single Cell RNA-Seq data is highly preferred.
  • Ability to participate in the preparation of grant applications and scientific publications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • A publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
  • Immunology expertise, prior postdoc experience, with cell biology and animal work.
  • T cell therapy and/or oncolytic virus experience, a big plus.
