Tobacco Treatment Specialist
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Nursing or other human services field.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience required in counseling, substance addictions, and/or behavior change intervention in a health care setting.
- Must be bilingual English and Spanish.
- Must be a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist.
Preferred education experience and skills:
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Proficient in motivational interviewing
- Has problem solving skillsTob
- Registered Nurse preferred.
- At least 1 year minimum experience in medical oncology setting preferred.
